HKUST Engineers Develop CarGAP, a Vitamin B₁₂ and Light-Controlled Molecular Valve to Precisely Regulate Cell Communication
Led by HKUST, the Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Center has signed a MoU with SEU to establish a long-term strategic partnership. Witnessed by Mr. Li Zhongjun, Mayor of the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government (center, back row); Prof. Harry Shum, HKUST Council Chairman (left, back row); and Mr. Wu Xiaocheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of SEU (right, back row), the agreement was signed by Prof. Gao Yang, Director of HKSREC and the HKUST Center for AI Robotics in Space Sustainability, Co-Director

The research is co-authored by Prof. Guo Yike, Provost and Chair Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (right); Prof. Zhou Yuanyuan, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (left); and Zhang Yalan, a PhD student in Prof. Zhou’s research group (center).
