HKUST Develops AI Medical Imaging Technology that Cuts Radiation by 99%
HKUST researchers develop SmartCare, an AI platform that redefines patient journeys from triage to treatment. A pilot study has been launched in its on-campus clinic. The project is led by (from left) Prof. Samuel Yu Chung-Toi, Director of the Health, Safety, and Environment Office at HKUST, Prof. Chen Hao from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dr. Justin Cheng, SmartCare’s CEO and Co-founder.
