MSc/PGD in Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management
Curriculum
MSc students are required to take a minimum of 30 credits of courses, including 6 credits of MSc Project, while PGD students are required to complete 15 credits. Students are given an option to complete a concentration in a selected sub-area. For details, please refer to the Postgraduate Program Catalog & Course Catalog.
Admission and English Proficiency Requirements
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field with second-class honors or higher, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or tertiary institution. Program Fee
For 2024/25 Spring intake (February 2025):
The nominal program fee for MSc in Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management for part-time study is HK$155,000 (paid in 4 installments) respectively.
The nominal program fee for Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management for part-time study is HK$89,000 (paid in 2 installments) respectively.
For 2025/26 Fall intake (September 2025):
The nominal program fee for MSc in Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management for full-time study is HK$186,900 (paid in 2 installments) and part-time study is HK$162,800 (paid in 4 installments) respectively.
The nominal program fee for Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management for part-time study is HK$93,450 (paid in 2 installments) respectively.

Further Learning Programme
MSc (Technical and non-technical)
This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.*

*It should be noted that candidates completing the MSc who hold an underpinning accredited IEng degree or a non-accredited bachelor degree will need to apply for an academic assessment to determine whether they will meet the educational base for CEng registration.
