MSc in IC Design Engineering


Curriculum
Students are required to complete a total of 26 credits of courses, including 4 credits of MSc Project. Subject to prior approval of the Program Director, students may take a maximum of 9 credits of courses offered by other MSc programs. Admission and English Proficiency Requirements
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Engineering/ Physical Sciences, with second class honors or higher, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or tertiary institution. For English Proficiency Requirements, please refer to HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School.
Program Fee
The nominal program fee for full-time study (either face-to-face or real-time online mode) is HK$175,000 (paid in 2 installments) and part-time study (either face-to-face or real-time online mode) is HK$153,000 (paid in 4 installments) respectively.
Application
All applications are considered on a competitive and rolling basis. Early online application is strongly recommended. For admission details and procedures, please refer to HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School.
*Applicant who wants to apply for real-time online mode, please select "Master of Science in IC Design Engineering (Online)" under Program Choice in the Online Application System. Non-local students admitted in real-time online mode (both full- and part-time) do not need student visa. Students please check with the relevant accreditation authority in your country about the degree recognition.

Career Prospect
This program enables students to take up technically challenging positions in the IC related field as well as other highly intellectual and management positions. Some students also found their startup companies after graduation.
