Who can participate?
Students who wish to apply for it should ideally be enrolled in one of the HKUST programs below:

**Computer Science courses are not available to students in this program.
Students who enrolled in Extended Majors shall complete all courses at HKUST prior to departure. There may also be limited choices at WashU for fulfilling elective requirements of HKUST Extended Majors as the electives are expected to consist of AI elements. Students enrolled in Extended Majors shall consult with EMIA before committing themselves.
Minimum Academic Criteria
To apply for the Joint Education Program, HKUST students are required to:

Be in the 3rd year of their undergraduate programs at the time of submitting the application and to commence the program in Year 4 Fall term (for dual degree students, applicants should be in their penultimate year of study)

Be in good academic standing at HKUST with a minimum CGA of 3.00

Have obtained a TOEFL score of 90 on the iBT version (or other equivalent qualifications accepted by WashU).
**Students can apply to both of this joint education program and mainland/overseas exchange for the following Fall term at the same time, but in the end they can accept ONE offer only.
