The IEEE 2026 Finals of the International Youth IC Challenge (China) and the Inaugural International IC Innovation and Education Forum were held at HKUST on May 17, 2026. The gathering attracted distinguished educators, leading chip experts, and school leaders from across China and overseas, fostering vibrant exchanges across academia, industry, and education sectors.

搭載神舟二十三號載人飛船的長征二號F遙二十三運載火箭已於5月24日晚上順利升空。三位領導全球首款輕小型、高分辨率、高精度二氧化碳與甲烷點源協同探測儀「天韻相機」（MUSICO）研發工作的科大學者，包括土木及環境工程學系講座教授蘇慧教授（第二排左七）、系主任兼講座教授張利民教授（第二排左六），以及新興跨學科領域學部副教授翟成興教授（第二排左三），聯同數十位學生在校園一同觀看火箭升空。
