Engineering Students Recognized for Social Impact at HKUST Connect Celebration

Twenty award recipients from the School of Engineering were recognized along with their peers across the University at the Connect for Social Good Celebration 2026, which took place at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Atrium on May 7.

An annual flagship event organized by HKUST Connect, this special occasion recognizes the University’s collective efforts for social good during the 2025-26 academic year and celebrates the outstanding contributions of HKUST students to the community. The celebration was joined by community and impact partners as well as school and department advisors, whose valuable guidance helped students find their footing in a fast-changing world.

The results of the HKUST Connect Award for Social Good were announced at the event, along with other awards and scholarships honoring students for their dedication and meaningful contributions.
