The HKUST ROV Team won their 12th straight championship in the Hong Kong Regional Contest of the MATE International ROV Competition since they joined in 2011. They will head for the international competition in the US this June.
Ranking 16th worldwide, the HKUST Aero Team is the highest scoring Asian team among 107 international teams at the 2024 AIAA Design/Build/Fly Competition. This is also the best ever result achieved by the team since they first joined the competition in 2013.
A joint undergraduate student team of five HKUST students and five HKUST(GZ) students won four awards at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Tertiary Institution Innovation Project Invitational Competition on March 9, 2024.

The “HKUST-ExxonMobil iSTEAM Program 2023 – Spider Robot STEAM Challenge” drew around 160 students and teachers from 19 primary and secondary schools to learn about STEAM, teamwork and leadership.
