The HKUST ROV Team won their 11th championship in the Hong Kong Regional Contest of the MATE International ROV Competition since they joined in 2011. They will compete in the international competition in the US this June.
The HKUST ROV Team won their 11th championship in the Hong Kong Regional Contest of the MATE International ROV Competition since they joined in 2011. They will compete in the international competition in the US this June. 
The HKUST Robotics Team took home eight medals in their first participation in the RoboGames, an annual robot contest in California, US that draws contestants from all over the world. This is the first time for the team members to join an international competition face-to-face after the pandemic.

The start-up team comprising Issac Leung, co-founder (first left, back row), Prof. Jack Cheng (second right, back row), and Peter Wong, co-founder (first right, front row), was awarded championship in the HKUST-Sino One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition.

A total of 175 teams formed by HKUST faculty, students and alumni, as well as members from other local and overseas institutions had joined the 12th edition of the competition beginning in March despite the fifth wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
