Prof. FAN Zhiyong and Prof. ZHANG Limin Elected 2025 Fellows of Hong Kong Academy of Engineering
Prof. FAN Zhiyong and Prof. ZHANG Limin were elected 2025 Fellows of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering (HKAE). They are among the 12 new Fellows elected this year, who are recognized for their exceptional expertise and commitment to advancing engineering.
Prof. Fan Zhiyong is a Chair Professor in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering and the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. He is also the Co-Director of State Key Laboratory of Displays and Opto-Electronics. He is a renowned scientist with international reputation in the areas of nanomaterials, nanoelectronics, and optoelectronics.
Prof Zhang Limin is Wilson H. Tang Professor of Engineering and the Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is an accomplished world-class scholar in the field of geotechnical risk management.
