Two Civil Engineering Students Received Lo Pan Scholarships 2024/2025 by Hong Kong Construction Association

Two undergraduate students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at HKUST were awarded the Lo Pan Scholarships 2024/2025 by the Hong Kong Construction Association. Established in 2023, the scholarships aim to recognize outstanding undergraduate students in construction-related programs at local universities.

In the second year of the scholarships, 10 awardees from five local universities were selected, including two from HKUST:

• CHEN Ho (Class of 2027, Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management)
• Eugene CHEUNG Hon (Class of 2025, BEng in Civil Engineering)

Among the two awardees this year, Eugene Cheung is a second-time winner who also received the scholarship in its inaugural year.

The 2nd Lo Pan Scholarship Presentation Ceremony took place at the Lo Pan Patron’s Day Dinner on July 25, 2025.
