Prof. Man Wong was honored with the 2021 Slottow-Owaki Prize for his outstanding contributions to the education of graduate and undergraduate students in display electronics.
The HKUST ROV Team won their 10th championship in the Hong Kong Regional of the MATE International ROV Competition that they joined since 2011. They would like to express their greatest appreciation to IET Hong Kong, MATE, and judges for hosting the competition in a difficult time and those who supported them in manufacturing and testing their ROV.
Prof. Zhang Limin (left) and Prof. Liu Ming (right) received a First Class Award in Natural Science and a Second Class Award in Technology Invention respectively.
Ivy Wong was identified by the selection committee as the best candidate in the medical and biological sciences category and awarded the Butterfield-Croucher Studentship in 2021.
At the award ceremony, Dr. Yin Ran shared his rewarding experience in the engineering research journey at HKUST with other postgraduate research students.
