Cheong Ying Chan Professor of Energy Engineering and Environment Prof. SHAO Minhua, his former PhD student Dr. ZHU Shangqian (now at Southeast University, Nanjing), and collaborators from Fudan University were recognized with a Shanghai Natural Science Award (Second Class) 2025 by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government for their project on “Mechanistic Studies of Electrocatalytic Conversion of Carbon-based Small Molecules”. Prof. Shao is the Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Director of the Energy Institute.
