Prof. Hnin Yin Yin NYEIN, Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, was honored with the Young Investigator Award 2025 by Micromachines, a monthly online journal published by the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute.

The Micromachines Young Investigator Award was established in 2020 to acknowledge the achievements of young investigators in the field of micro/nano-scaled structures, materials, devices, and systems as well as related micro- and nanotechnology, from fundamental research to applications. Only one awardee is selected each year.

The award is eligible for early career researchers who receive their PhD no more than 10 years. Nominees must have produced groundbreaking research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of micro/nano-scaled structures, materials, devices and systems.
