Prof. Zhang Limin is an accomplished world-class scholar in the field of geotechnical risk management. His international visibility is evidenced by numerous honors and awards he has received, notably the inaugural National Engineer Award and ASCE Ralph B. Peck Award. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Georisk, a leading international journal in engineered systems and geohazards. His project on “Digital Twin-Empowered Landslide Emergency Risk Management” was awarded funding in the highly competitive Theme-based Research Scheme in 2023/24.
