HKUST Information Day 2025 Welcomed 50,000 Visitors to Explore Engineering Excellence

The HKUST Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions on November 1, 2025, attracted over 50,000 secondary school students, parents, teachers and members of the general public, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere that filled the campus with excitement and energy. With the concerted efforts of its faculty, staff and students, the School of Engineering hosted over 130 engaging activities, showcasing experiential learning, research, and the spirit of engineering innovation in action. Among the exciting programs of the day were:
- School of Engineering admissions talks, by Prof. Ben CHAN, Associate Dean of Students and Associate Director of Center for Engineering Education Innovation, and Prof. WANG Yu-Hsing, Associate Dean of Engineering (Undergraduate Studies)
- Talk on “Explore HKUST Metaverse” by Prof. Ben Chan
- Consultation booths
- Sharing of engineering student ambassadors

- “AI for Good”, featuring AI-powered healthcare technologies
- Low Altitude Economy projects
