HKUST Signs Cooperation Agreement with Hong Kong Gathering Talents Limited
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) signed a cooperation agreement with Hong Kong Gathering Talents Limited on December 3, 2024, to launch the “Technology Executive Leadership Program”.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Prof. Hong K. LO, Dean of Engineering, HKUST, and Mr. CHEN Zhiyu, General Manager of Hong Kong Gathering Talents. The agreement signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. WANG Yang, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, HKUST; Prof. TSUI Chi-Ying, Director of Entrepreneurship Education, HKUST; Ms. BAO Yilin, Board of Director of Guangdong Holdings Limited (GDH); and Mr. LIN Jianshen, General Manager Assistant of GDH and Director of Hong Kong Gathering Talents.
This strategic cooperation deepens the collaboration between the University and industry engagement. Leveraging the academic strengths of HKUST’s faculty and their research outcomes, as well as the rich industrial resources of Hong Kong Gathering Talents, the partnership will join forces in the areas of talent development, research collaboration, and commercialization of industrial projects. Through the long-term strategic cooperation, both parties will aim at working closely to contribute to Hong Kong’s development as an international innovation and technology hub, and to create a platform for gathering international high-end talent.
