MPhil Student Kelvin LEUNG Came First in 2021 AIAA Region VII/International Student Conference
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering MPhil student Kelvin LEUNG Kai-Lok (2020 BEng in Aerospace Engineering (First Class Honor)), supervised by Prof. Stephane REDONNET, presented a paper entitled “Computational Investigation of the Airfoil Self-Noise in a Low Reynolds Number Flow” at the 2021 AIAA Region VII/International Student Conference online on November 29-30, 2021 and won the AIAA Region VII Regional Student Conference – 1st Place in the Master’s Category. Kelvin has been invited to present his paper at the 2022 AIAA International Student Conference, taking place in conjunction with the annual AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition, which will be held on January 3-7, 2022 in San Diego, US.
The AIAA Region VII/International Student Conference is a technical and oral paper competition for undergraduate and graduate students in aerospace, aviation or related students. It offers monetary prizes for the best three papers and an excellent opportunity for students to present their academic work.
