The proposal prepared by Prof Oscar Au’s team from the ECE Department has been selected as one of the Innovative TD-SCDMA Services and Applications for the Hong Kong Cyberport TD-SCDMA Service Development Centre. The title of the project is: “High quality video streaming based on advanced video/audio coding techniques and optimized adaptive streaming algorithms”. A total of 7 proposals were selected out of 23 received from the industry. The selected teams will complete their actual products in the next 3 months.
