The 10th IFAC Conference on Networked Systems (NecSys 2025) was held from June 2 to 5 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The NecSys is part of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) conference series and has been successfully conducted for nine editions. The conference featured world-class scientists and engineers who shared their latest research findings, along with scholars, engineers, industry representatives, and students from related fields engaging in meaningful discussions.

The event commenced with an opening speech by General Chair Prof. ZHANG Fumin, Director of Cheng Kar-Shun Robotics Institute (CKSRI) and Acting Head and Chair Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at HKUST. Other prominent figures at the opening ceremony included General Co-Chairs Prof. QIU Li from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and Prof. CHEN Jie from the City University of Hong Kong, Program Co-Chair Prof. CHEN Xudong from Washington University in St. Louis, Registration Chair Prof. WU Wencen from San Jose State University, and IFAC Young Author Award Coordinator Prof. YAO Ningshi from George Mason University. Multiple renowned experts in control and networking delivered impressive presentations during the conference.

The conference featured an esteemed line-up of plenary speakers from world-renowned institutions in Mainland China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, the US, and the UK (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, ETH Zurich, University of Tokyo, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, University of California, San Diego, Purdue University, Politecnico di Milano, Imperial College London, Nanyang Technological University, Tsinghua University) and leading corporations (Meituan, China Unicom Global, Alibaba Group).

To recognize research excellence among young scholars, the IFAC Young Author Award was presented to one awardee and four finalists during the conference.
