Hi! My name is Vinamra Misra and I'm an international student from India majoring in Computer Science. When I was three years old, I loved watching the fluid movements of letters and numbers that appeared on the screen of my mother's Packard Bell PC. Later, it made my 'c's and 'e's face the right way, effortlessly! However, learning to code in C++ as a ninth grader, opened a whole new world for me, a world where computers would make human lives easier and help us do things we could have never imagined. Graduated from high school, my passion for computers led me to pursue Computer Science as my major and HKUST, one of the premier institutions in the world for CS, as my university of choice. HKUST, with its renowned faculty, great research opportunities and excellent facilities, provided me with opportunities to spread my wings. A diverse student body, a vast number of student societies and a breathtaking campus will make sure that you'll never miss home.
