School of Engineering Secured HK$67.5 Million in Three Research Funding Schemes
School of Engineering (SENG) faculty members achieved impressive results in three major research funding schemes, taking up a large share of the University’s total. In Collaborative Research Fund 2025/26, HKUST secured funding for 12 projects, including nine projects led by SENG faculty members. In Research Impact Fund 2025/26, HKUST received funding for one project, which is led by SENG. In the Green Tech Fund’s fifth round of applications, two HKUST projects were approved, where both are led by SENG. In total, SENG secured over HK$67.5 million in the 12 projects under these three funding schemes.
