ACM MobiCom 2025, the 31st edition of the International Conference on Mobile Computing and Networking, was successfully hosted by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on November 4-8, 2025. The event also marks the celebration of the University’s 35th anniversary and attracted more than 520 prominent academics, industry professionals, researchers and students from the global mobile computing and networking community.

As the flagship conference of ACM SIGMOBILE, MobiCom addresses networks, systems, algorithms, and applications that support mobile computers and wireless networks. This year marked a significant milestone as it was the conference’s return to China after 16 years, since its first appearance in Beijing in 2009.

Prof. LI Mo, Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Division of Integrative Systems and Design, served as MobiCom 2025’s General Co-Chair. Prof. ZHANG Qian, Tencent Professor of Engineering, Head of the Division of Integrative Systems and Design, and Chair Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, served as a Vice General Chair. HKUST Provost Prof. GUO Yike delivered welcome remarks at the conference.

MobiCom 2025 featured a rich and diverse program, featuring two keynote speeches, SIGMOBILE Award talks, 76 regular papers from the main conference, two papers selected from ACM Transactions on Internet of Things for journal-track presentations, the largest-ever poster and demo session, and an exciting workshop day comprising 12 workshops and one tutorial.

The conference provided an excellent platform for participants to exchange ideas and foster collaborations in the areas of mobile computing and wireless and mobile networking.
