Four HKUST scholars have been named ACM Fellows. Prof. Guo Yike, Provost and Chair Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at HKUST, has been elected as an International Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Prof. Guo stated, “I am deeply honored to be elected as an International Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and sincerely thanks for this recognition.”

Prof. Yang Qiang was elected as the general chair of the 35th AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence and ranked the first in the AAAI/IJCAI sub-field on the AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Annual List.
