The scholarship opens doors for students with exceptional academic performances to become trailblazers in the fields of Decision Analytics and Financial Engineering.

Am I eligible?

Awardees must list Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics (IEDA) (JS5260) as a Band A choice in JUPAS, and be eventually admitted to the IEDA Department through JUPAS.
Awardees must obtain a minimum admission score of 39. The admission score is calculated based on the total scores of the best 5 subjects on specific weighting plus extra bonus for their best 6th subject. Details of the score calculation can be referred to https://join.hkust.edu.hk/admissions/jupas.
Only senior secondary subjects in Category A are considered. Results of Applied Learning subjects and Other Language subjects will not be considered in in this Scholarship Scheme.
Mathematics Extended Module 1 (Calculus & Statistics) and Mathematics Extended Module 2 (Algebra & Calculus) are also considered as independent subjects for fulfilling the requirements of the Scholarship Scheme.
Only HKDSE results in one single sitting will be considered.
The Scholarship Scheme applies to LOCAL students admitted on strength of HKDSE results only.
Successful applicants of SNDAS are also eligible.
Eligible students will be automatically considered for the Scheme based on their final HKDSE results. No application by students is required.

The total scholarship amount that students receive should not exceed Full tuition fee plus HK$60,000 allowance p.a.}
