In high school, I planned to pursue a computer science major. However, destiny had a different path in mind for me, and I found myself irresistibly drawn to the captivating world of mechanical engineering. The intricacies of machine construction, the complex interplay of forces, and the boundless creative opportunities it offered became my true passion.

Studying at HKUST has solidified my love for mechanical engineering. The University's exceptional faculty, cutting-edge facilities, and collaborative environment have given me a strong foundation in this field. I've had the opportunity to explore various aspects of mechanical engineering, from delving into the challenges of solid mechanics to specializing in control systems and the exciting realm of robotics, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its fundamental principles.

My fascination with robotics has always been the driving force behind my journey. The field of robotics presents endless possibilities that truly captivate me.
