As a student in the Dual Degree Program in Technology & Management, specializing in Aerospace Engineering and General Business Management, I am immensely grateful for the opportunities provided by the School of Engineering at HKUST. The support and guidance from the faculty have been instrumental in pursuing my passion for aviation.

I have been fortunate to engage in research activities through the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). The faculty members in MAE have been incredibly encouraging, allowing me to personally explore various aspects of aviation, from propellers to aircraft wings to satellites, through HKUST's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). This program has provided me with invaluable experiences and the freedom to delve into different disciplines, enabling me to discover and define my specific area of interest within the field of computational optimization of aircraft.

The holistic education provided by the University has equipped me with technical skills and fostered a mindset of integrating academia with real-life problems. I am confident that the foundation laid by HKUST and the unwavering support of the School will continue to shape my professional growth and contribute to the advancement of the aerospace industry by nurturing talents.
