I recall those days when I was struggling with prioritizing my JUPAS choices. In the end, I chose engineering simply out of my interests in math and physics. But the more I studied, the more I fell for it. Designing, computing, modeling, and other endeavors involved, this discipline has turned out to be more captivating than I expected. Even though the complexity has made things more challenging, it magnifies the thrill of learning about engineering.
Still, an in-depth understanding of any topic entails tremendous time and effort. There are times when I feel I might have bitten more than I could chew, and times when stress and tension drop by. Yet, the feeling of heading towards a goal, and that I am becoming better equipped to be an engineer, has always kept me in high spirits, rendering those downsides negligible.
It might sound so clichéd to say "love what you do and do what you love". But if you are disoriented, why not let your passion take the wheel? I will never forget July 12, 2019 - the day when I finalized my JUPAS choices and eventually crossed paths with the engineering field.
