I always dream of being an engineer, especially in the field of computer engineering. My enthusiasm drives me to choose HKUST SENG, the No.1 Engineering School in Hong Kong. I believe the school would equip me to get prepared for my dream - working in one of the largest technology companies, Google. In Form 5 summer, I spent four precious and fruitful weeks in the IT Department of Estee Lauder Company (ELC) for an internship. I have observed how technology works with the business world. I became more determined to pursue my dream towards advanced level of computer engineering. Therefore I have applied Computer Engineering Program as my major. Through this program, balanced and challenging training in both hardware and software will be provided. Furthermore, I can have full access to the facilities and laboratories of both ECE and CSE departments. I have faith that the numerous opportunities given by the School and the Program can help me achieve my goal.

One of the biggest reasons of joining the ESA Program would be my desire to learn and to equip myself. Since the program provides a series of training workshops and the opportunities to meet professionals from different industries, I believe this would prepare myself for my aspiration. Apart from that, I would like to meet more friends through this program. As a program organized by SENG, it attracts students who are willing to repay the school. I admire these people and I would like to get along with them.

I am proud to be in SENG and I will strive to make the School be proud of me.
