I chose HKUST because of its well-structured curriculum. We are able to try different engineering courses and choose the major that is suitable for us in Year 2. Besides, there are a lot of learning opportunities in HKUST, such as having an exchange program, joining competitions and so on. Not to mention, the School of Engineering (SENG) shows a strong support to every engineering student to make sure we can enjoy our first year in school. For example, there are advisors giving advice and help on our studies, and peer mentors sharing their experience in university. More importantly, it arranges activities that allow us to meet new friends.

I love to serve people. Being an ESA allows me to learn while serving. Through participating in different outreach activities and taking up different duties at SENG, I can pass on my passion on engineering to the teenagers because I want to influence others and let them know more about engineering. It also provides me with chances to meet internationals and work with them. Thus, joining the ESA family definitely enriches my university school life.
