Hi, I am an international student from New Delhi, India. I am a Computer Science engineering student. HKUST is one of the fastest growing universities and it provides you with world class faculty, facilities and great career prospects. For me, HKUST is a chance to celebrate the diversity that it offers. Coming into a different culture and society is very challenging but it prepares you to face challenges in life and teaches you the importance of adaptiveness and respect for different cultures and people. HKUST helped me develop my leadership skills as I joined various student societies including the reputed Students Union Editorial Board. This experience helped me work with people from different cultures and make some lifelong friends.

Why is SENG so important to my or your career? I believe that industry is driven by innovation and SENG provides you with the technical knowledge needed for driving that change. Being a computer science engineer gives me a deep insight into the world of IT which undoubtedly holds the future. SENG gives you a lot of opportunities ranging from research to entrepreneurship and an option to choose a minor program as well. I have opted for business minor program and it has helped me realize how I can combine technical expertise into business field.

Joining the ESA program is another opening for me to polish my leadership skills, to meet and work with diversified crowd and most importantly to serve the SENG and upcoming students. All my experiences at HKUST have helped me to learn and develop as a person and I wish the same for you and your future.
