Hi, my name is Wibi. I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am currently majoring in Civil Engineering.

It has been a wonderful experience studying in HKUST. Not only am I able to study under a great curriculum offered by the School of Engineering, HKUST also offers a perfect environment for studying and developing my interpersonal skills. I am able to meet a lot of new friends and people from different backgrounds and countries.

My curiosity about the engineering world has grown since I was in junior high school. As soon as I graduated, I chose engineering as my career path, but at that time I hadn't decided which major I wanted to take yet. This is the reason I joined HKUST, as it offers different introductory courses in the first year and I didn't need to declare my major as early as the first year. Currently, I am happy that I chose civil engineering as my major.

As an ESA, I would like to contribute back to my juniors so that they can get a lot of information about HKUST, and especially School of Engineering. I am happy to share my experience with you.
