Natalie Ka Wai

I’m Natalie, currently a dual degree student studying Civil Engineering and General Business Management.

For me, engineering is mostly about creating all kinds of things, say buildings, aircrafts, phones, applications or robots - all with our knowledge. This is the reason I find engineering so interesting – we actually have the chance to facilitate our own lives!

SENG makes our university lives better by providing us with all kinds of support and resources. For example, we can find our Peer Mentors to seek help when we encounter difficulties with our studies. Also, SENG provides us with lots of opportunities, and all we have to do is to grasp them! That’s exactly what I did — I grasped the opportunity and joined the ESA Program, in which I received a lot of trainings to further improve my interpersonal skills. In addition, I have the chance to serve and promote our School, while applying what I have learnt during the training, which is definitely a win-win situation!
