Linda Yuanqiao

Hi, I'm Linda from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering.

Growing up enjoying how technology shapes the world, I have always dreamt of being part of the future makers. I chose engineering because I’m keen to see magic happen when I work with the combination of my brain and hands. Having studied in Japan, Germany and China, I'm now immersed in the diverse and inclusive nature of Hong Kong and my experience in HKUST has far exceeded my expectations. HKUST offers us so many opportunities that we can choose for ourselves. Throughout this year, I've been encouraged to step out of my comfort zone and make the most out of the opportunities. Even though I still feel nervous before trying out new things, I know for sure that in the end I'm going to enjoy this experience and thank myself for making this awesome choice.
