Jenny Jayeon

Hello, this is Jenny from Korea, currently studying Computer Engineering. I attended an international school in Korea for 7 years before coming abroad to HKUST. To me, Hong Kong is a multicultural place where I can expand my horizons and improve myself, while not being too far away from home. Engineering is an inspiring field of study as it allows me to produce tangible results, so I can proudly say I made the right choice coming here.

HKUST was a great choice for me because despite the famous “stress and tension” aspect, it provides students with endless opportunities and experiences. In just a year, I befriended people from all over the world and had hands on experience making my first robot. People are continuously generating innovative ideas and are willing to help, so I am excited to spend my upcoming years in this very environment.
