Kevin Kin Fung

Hi, I am Kevin, a Year Two Civil Engineering student. It has been my passion to study engineering and hope it will become my lifelong career. Unlike what is commonly perceived as something dull and stressful, I would like to say that engineering is fruitful and meaningful.

Engineering, in my opinion, helps to shape our future and creates possibility out of impossibility. By integrating theoretical and technical knowledge, it improves the quality of life for mankind.  Since I was young, I have been greatly intrigued by such an idea, yet I was still too young to comprehend this concept. As I grew day by day, I wanted to become an engineer.

What I enjoy about engineering is the fun and excitement in problem solving. Oftentimes, there is no single solution. My preference for studying engineering is due to the fact that it requires a suitable mindset and mode of thinking to understand problems in systematic ways, and in the end integrate a bit of creativity and imagination to solve a problem.
