Overseas Research Attachment Program

The Overseas Research Attachment Program for PhD Students aims to enrich students’ research experience by providing them with exposure to a foreign culture and environment, and widening their circle of professional contacts, so as to better prepare them for their future careers.

Outbound Summer & Exchange Programs

Opportunities are given to research postgraduate students for them to join international competitions, conferences and workshops, e.g. summer programs at Technical University of Denmark, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Peking University and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Indonesia. 

ASPIRE Student Workshop

The Asian Science and Technology Pioneering Institutes of Research and Education (ASPIRE) Student Workshop, held annually in summer as part of the ASPIRE Forum, aims to bring together students of the ASPIRE member universities for a week of collaboration and exchange through joint investigation of a particular research theme.

AOTULE Student Conference

The Asia-Oceania Top University League on Engineering (AOTULE), founded in 2007, is a league of twelve premiere engineering universities in the Asia-Oceania region. It promotes inter-university cooperation through joint programs including an annual Dean's meeting, student workshop and exchanges of students and staff, in order to improve the quality of engineering education and research of the members. The AOTULE Student Conference is organized on a yearly basis in Fall.

Asian Deans' Forum - The Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop

The Asian Deans' Forum - The Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop has been organized by Asia’s top engineering schools since 2018. This workshop aims to bring together young female professionals in engineering disciplines from around the world, including scholars, researchers and engineers interested in exploring and advancing careers in academia, for scientific and career-oriented discussions relevant to the development of women academic leaders in Asia.
