本课程满足从事环境设施和基建系统设计、运作及管理的执业工程师的需要,专为那些希望加深环境工程学及管理知识、有志于加强工程实践能力与管理职能的人士所设计。另外,本课程还提供其他相关课程的几门选修课程予学生选修。

香港工程师学会环境界别

环境工程学及管理理学硕士课程毕业生可以申请香港工程师学会环境界别的会员,详情请参阅此处

课程设置

硕士学生必须修满30个学分,其中包括18个学分的基础课 (foundation courses) 及至少3门管理相关课目。 而深造文凭学生则须修满至少15个学分,其中包括9个学分的基础课 (foundation courses) 及至少2门管理相关科目。独立研究报告 (Independent Project)是可选的。详情请查阅硕士课程目录科目目录

入学和英语能力要求

申请者必须持有二等荣誉或以上的土木/化学/机械工程或相关工程学科的学士学位,或具有获认可大学或大专院校所颁发的同等学历资格。有关英语能力要求,请查阅香港科技大学霍英东研究生院网页。 

课程费用

2023/24年春季入学 (2024年2月):

入读全日制理学硕士课程的课程费用为HK$168,000(分两期缴付),而入读兼读制理学硕士课程的课程费用为HK$145,000(分四期缴付)。

入读全日制深造文凭课程的课程费用为HK$84,000(一次性缴付),而入读兼读制深造文凭课程的课程费用为HK$84,000(分两期缴款)。

2024/25年秋季入学 (2024年9月):

入读全日制理学硕士课程的课程费用为HK$178,000(分两期缴付),而入读兼读制理学硕士课程的课程费用为HK$155,000(分四期缴付)。

入读全日制深造文凭课程的课程费用为HK$89,000(一次性缴付),而入读兼读制深造文凭课程的课程费用为HK$89,000(分两期缴款)。

Led by Prof. Guanghao CHEN, Program Director of MSc in Environmental Engineering and Management program and Chair Professor of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the project titled “Reducing Biological Landfill Leachate Treatment Footprint via Rapid Electrochemical-UV Technologies” received around HK$6.7 million from the HK Government Green Tech Fund.
Prof. Irene Lo, Chair Professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is leading a team of researchers, academics and professionals in collaboration with Sino Land Company Limited, in a bid to achieve net-zero carbon emission by 2050 and to fight climate change.
Prof. Limin ZHANG, Prof. Irene LO and Prof. Christopher LEUNG of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering were honored in the Ministry of Education’s 2019 Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards (Science and Technology). These significant national awards recognize leading contributions to scientific discovery and technological innovation carried out in tertiary institutions across China.
