The competition is open to individuals or teams of up to five members. The two competition categories are the HKUST category and the public category.
All members of HKUST, including students, alumni, faculty members and staffs, are eligible to submit an entry under the HKUST category; while members of the general public, including secondary school students, tertiary education students and others, may enter the competition under the public category.
