The simple spark in an engine marks the beginning of a chain reaction that allows it to reach great distances. The same can be said about studying at HKUST. Through the many challenges and dynamic pressures I've experienced here, HKUST has fostered a mindset dedicated to pursuing knowledge. Describing HKUST's academics as hard would be an understatement. I believe that nothing good comes easy in life. My experience proves that my hard work here has been one of the most rewarding times of my life. It helps to have a loving and supportive community of like-minded individuals at HKUST. I can attest that the friends I make here have helped me become a more productive and well-rounded person. Living, breathing, and engaging with the community at HKUST has demonstrated how strong we can be together in facing the never-ending challenges of life.
