Engineering serves as a cornerstone for the operation of our society, where engineers of the past, present, and future all have the power to change the world.

I was able to receive my education at one of the best-ranked universities in the world, which allowed me to understand what it means to be an engineer, the duties I have, and the morals I should uphold as an engineer. It's been a privilege to study here, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have received.

Throughout my three years of study at HKUST, I have also grown significantly as a person. The different friends I have made during this time have always been my greatest treasure at this university; HKUST’s nature as a global university has made it incredibly easy for me to meet people from diverse backgrounds. Thanks to them, my university life has been nothing short of entertaining and fruitful.

As an appointed student ambassador, I want to promote the importance of engineering to others and hope to inspire more people to gain interest in this profession, where they have the potential to create and encourage change.
