Growing up in a developing country, I have learned to appreciate and experience the incredible engineering advancements made over the years. From revolutionising access to information and connectivity, to improving socioeconomic development- electronic engineering has been at the forefront of revolutionising and shaping how we interact with the world.
Over the years, I have shaped my perspectives and attained a deeper understanding of these areas through my academic courses as well as practical work beyond the scope of my classroom. With opportunities to learn from leading industry professionals and exposure to
State of the Art facilities, HKUST encapsulate my enquiring mind making it a fairly easy choice for me to come here.
Coming to HKUST as an aspiring electronic engineer has been a transformative journey. As an engineering student here, I have been given the luxury of choice and an array of opportunities to challenge myself. This allows me to grow both professionally and personally.
The Engineering Student Ambassador (ESA) Program, as a whole is quickly shaping up to be a pivoting part of my time here as an engineering student. Being a part of the Engineering Student Ambassador (ESA) Program has given me lifetime access to a network of passionate individuals. By gradually earning a spot among such exceptional human beings I hope to help my peers as well. I want incoming freshmen and prospective students to learn from the multicultural community of exceptional individuals here and experience the feeling of a second home that I managed to find at HKUST.
