I was 7 years old when I played with my first-ever Lego set. Building that train model with my dad was a great learning experience and a life-changing moment for me. Watching all those little pieces of Lego work together to transform into a moving train and knowing I was the one who made that happen was a truly inspiring moment for me. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to create things like this, but on a much larger scale. As I grew older, I gained access to more technology, and with the internet, my love for technology and innovation only grew. However, it was only when I came to HKUST that I realized I wanted to study Aerospace Engineering. Taking MECH1907, Introduction to Aerospace Engineering, introduced me to a whole new side of engineering I hadn't thought about. This course inspired me to pursue Aerospace Engineering at HKUST.
Ever since I started considering places to pursue my higher education, HKUST has always been my first and only choice. At HKUST, I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in a diverse and stimulating learning environment. The University's state-of-the-art learning facilities and highly qualified faculty have helped me develop a strong foundation in Aerospace Engineering. My interest in this subject has grown exponentially as I dove deeper into the complexities of aerodynamics and propulsion systems. One of the most rewarding aspects of my time at HKUST has been the amazing people I've met here, both in my field of study and outside. The opportunity to collaborate with these individuals has been incredible. These connections have not only enhanced my academic journey but also grown into lifelong friendships. Sharing my birthdays and holidays with them has been truly rewarding. I am truly happy to be studying engineering at HKUST.
