Sharat Vadakoot

Hi! I'm Sharat, an international student from India studying CSE at HKUST. I can honestly state that the School of Engineering has been a second home for me, and an amazing one at that!

Being interested in Sciences, Math and computers in particular, pursuing Engineering was a natural choice for me. And HKUST has such an impressive profile, be it faculty, location, rankings or reputation, that I think anyone studying here should be really proud of. And now, I am glad that I can be a representative of HKUST School of Engineering as an Engineering Student Ambassador (ESA).

If you are a person who prefers practicality to theory, who likes to figure out how stuff works, or who wants to do things that give concrete results (rather than hypothetical ones), you should certainly give Engineering some serious thought. Life in HKUST is awesome, and I do not regret my decision to come here at all.
