LANG 5030 – Professional Communication Skills for Engineers
This course helps students to develop and practice skills appropriate for participating and communicating in typical academic and professional engineering contexts. Students will learn how to construct informative and persuasive messages, lead engaging seminars, and appreciate the nuances of communicating successfully in intercultural settings.

Date: September 1 – November 26, 2025 (every Monday and Wednesday, except public holidays)
Time: 12noon - 1:30pm
Venue: Room 3401 (Lift 17-18), Clear Water Bay campus
Course fee: HK$3,000
Remarks: The credit and GPA of LANG 5030 will not be used to fulfill the graduation requirement.
