I still vividly recall the excitement I felt upon receiving my acceptance to HKUST Engineering in 2022. My time at HKUST has been truly transformative, allowing me to blend my passion for analytical problem-solving with practical applications, particularly in my major of Decision Analytics. The rigorous curriculum, paired with hands-on projects, has equipped me with essential skills in data analysis, optimization, and decision-making.

In addition to the technical knowledge I’ve gained, I have also developed a strong foundation in critical thinking and innovative approaches to problem-solving. One of the highlights of my experience has been the friendships I’ve formed with my classmates, whose diverse perspectives and support have inspired and motivated me throughout my studies. Collaborating with such a talented group of individuals has enriched my learning journey and fostered a strong sense of community. Working alongside esteemed faculty members and engaging in group projects and case studies has enhanced my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively, a skill I consider vital for future success.

I am eager to apply my knowledge to address complex challenges and make meaningful contributions to the dynamic field of decision analytics.
