I remember when I got my first set of LEGO bricks. Though I was too small to play with them unattended, I eagerly awaited my parents' return from work, counting down the minutes until I could start building. I learned what was possible to construct, and I was thrilled to showcase the things I had created myself. I believe HKUST provides the bricks and the guidance to create, which is why I chose HKUST over other universities in Poland.
Now, in my final year at HKUST, and after more than three years of study, I hardly remember what it was like during my freshman year. However, I vividly recall the excitement of seeing how beautiful the campus was and how many facilities were available for me to use. HKUST offers a wide range of courses, so when I had to declare my major, I was not worried about not being able to take the ones that interested me, even if they were outside my major, since the university provides a variety of courses from different disciplines to everyone. I remember taking a course in history, as it is one of my big passions.
But this university is not just about courses and engineering; it is about the people, too. During my time here, I have met so many friendly and supportive individuals from every background imaginable, whether during classes or my exchange semester. I hope that I can help and share my experiences with all potential and new students!
