"From a young age, my passion for video games and consoles sparked a deep interest in computers and graphics. Over the years, this fascination evolved, leading me to pursue a Computer Science degree at HKUST's Engineering School, which is widely recognized as the top engineering institution in Hong Kong.

One of the standout features of HKUST is its unique flexibility, allowing students to explore various interests before committing to a specific path. For instance, I had the opportunity to take introductory ELEC courses in my first year—an experience that may not be available at many other universities. This freedom has been invaluable in helping me determine whether hardware is the right fit for me. Additionally, I was able to explore diverse subjects such as finance, economics, and social sciences, which enriched my educational experience and broadened my perspective.

This year, I am excited to serve as an Engineering Student Ambassador. I hope to share my experiences and insights with prospective students, highlighting the unique opportunities that HKUST offers. At the same time, I look forward to deepening my current friendships and meeting new people through this program, fostering a community of individuals who share a passion for engineering and innovation."
