Engineering has undergone a remarkable evolution over the last two centuries, witnessing rapid advancements and transformative breakthroughs. Before embarking on my journey at HKUST School of Engineering, this progression of engineering never failed to captivate my interest. The excitement of innovation, problem-solving, and the potential to shape the future through technology deeply fascinated me. Little did I know that stepping into HKUST would elevate this fascination to new heights. The excitement of venturing into uncharted engineering territories propelled my eagerness to seek more knowledge and delve into the depths of what engineering has to offer.

My academic journey in engineering has been an exhilarating odyssey. The demanding academic curriculum and the nurturing environment fueled my curiosity and provided a platform to wholeheartedly embrace my passion for exploring technology. Engaging in diverse projects and participating in stimulating discussions, I witnessed firsthand how technology continues to advance at an astonishing pace. It became evident that leveraging and further delving into this progression is not only a privilege but also a responsibility. The inclusive and supportive environment I was fortunate to experience, alongside the opportunities that presented themselves, showed me that it is a responsibility to shape my experiences and broaden my horizons.

As technology continues its relentless growth, my eagerness to adapt, learn, and contribute to this transformative journey is ever-present.
