Throughout my studies at HKUST, I have become a better problem solver and a more well-rounded version of myself. In the three years I have studied at this University, I have gained valuable insights and hands-on experiences with a wide range of subjects ranging from theory to practical solutions. In my experience, one thing that sets HKUST apart from other universities is its willingness to help students pursue their academic and non-academic passions through funding and opportunities to work on leading-edge projects with professors and fellow peers.  The HKUST community is very open-minded, which has helped me transition from my high school life in Germany to my University life in Hong Kong. Making the transition as smooth as possible can be daunting for local and non-local students. Thus, I am happy to be a part of programs such as ESA, which aim to help students of all backgrounds.

My passion for problem-solving has led me down the path of engineering at a young university that does its very best to provide its students with the resources to achieve their goals and dreams while ensuring that they can build long-lasting and fruitful relationships with their peers and fellow faculty.
