Opera Bai Hua

The reason why I choose HKUST SENG is for its reputation in quality education. Actually, I am much fond of the fast booming young universities, like HKUST, for they are more passionate and open-minded. Also, the unique concept of education and research here attracts me, not to mention the high-class hardware. For all these, HKUST SENG could provide me a well-set platform to develop myself.

My UG major was Bio. To make good use of my knowledge in Science and to make them applicable in real life, I have chosen Engineering during my PG studies here. Indeed, I learn a lot from my engineering program so far, much of which I have never came across before. The blueprint of my future is to own a fast developing technology company with corresponding social responsibilities, like charity, public health and infrastructure.

One day after comprehending the major mission of the ESA, I realize that it is an opportunity for me to make the change. As a mainland student speaking Cantonese, I would like to take this opportunity to pull down the barriers between not only the mainland and the local, but the whole society that SENG connects with. Also, the impression is vital. I am proud to be one of the students of SENG, and be able to promote this amazing School to the public.

I would like to fully cover my duty as an ESA and try my best to contribute more to this “School with Bright Future”.
